Hey folks it's another exciting GM blog from Perrito!
This one will be short but sweet. Summer is finally here and we have a lot of fun content planned for the next couple updates... New areas, balance changes, events and even a new boss! You guys know what I'm talking about. =P
For this upcoming patch, we'll be releasing the first half of our two-part Summer update! While developing v0.14 we got a little overzealous and ended up working on too many things to fit into a single update. So we decided to split the update into two parts: Part 1 will flesh out some of the content unique to MG2, introduce some new summer-themed events, and allow us to finish some last minute spring cleaning. Part 2 will introduce one of the most essential content updates the game ever received... but we'll save the details for the next GM blog! In v0.14 we will be running some brand new events and we'll finally get to show off some of the ideas that we've had since the start of MG2.
Once again I'd like to thank everyone who sent in feedback this update! There was a lot to sort through but reading everyone's suggestions has given us some great insights. We discuss all the suggestions that we receive, but keep in mind that at its core MG2 is an emulation project. While we may introduce some custom features to remedy the game's issues, and additional content to make gameplay more interesting, our goal isn't to totally reinvent it. But don't let that discourage you from sharing your ideas!
